In 1993, Markus Egger founded Egger Programming Services (EPS) in Salzburg, Austria.
Later, the company relocated to the current corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas
and became EPS Software Corporation. Markus's business background and passion
for technology provided the foundation for the new organization. From the beginning,
EPS has been a driving force in leading-edge software development and is a world
leader in distributed application developments. The company is responsible for custom
implementations of Rational Rose®, custom report generators, debugging tools and
several developer libraries. EPS is one of the first implementers of the Unified
Modeling Language (UML) for Microsoft® Visual Studio. The company is recognized
by major software companies and IT departments of client organizations as a talented
team of elite developers.
EPS bases its development on a rigorous implementation of object-oriented analysis,
design and programming, using the best tools and platforms available. Whether EPS
does the work or provides strategic consulting support, the company's principles
ensure that the finished software is not only on budget, on specification, and on
time, but also scaleable and maintainable.
EPS believes that the highly publicized Microsoft .NET initiative offers its clients
significant advantages over other development and deployment platforms. The structure
of the .NET development environment provides for cost-effective and timely software
development. The .NET platform is a great way to write new applications with rich
languages, tools, libraries, and pre-built components that make EPS developers more
productive than the competition.
