UI Design for .NET Developers

This event took place on Friday, January 1, 2010.

Students may attend either in the EPS offices in Houston, TX or live online with GoToMeeting.

While in the past, graphics design was only important for Web developers, in today's modern applications, it is equally important for Windows programmers. With technologies such as WPF and Silverlight, developers often are confronted with the need to design user interfaces that are not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing and polished. Luckily it doesn't take a lot of artistic skills to learn some basic techniques that elevate user interfaces to new heights. This class covers the basics of good design taylored especially for developers as well as many standard techniques for creating great looking and functional UIs.

This comprehensive 3-day class starts at a beginner level, but quickly moves beyond theory to enable attendees to learn how to write professional & polished user interfaces. Attendees will also get the opportunity to discuss their projects and have their questions personally answered by Markus Egger, Claudio Lassala and Jonathan Birkholz.
